Let's be honest, simply because someone is in a position to teach does not necessarily mean they can do so effectively. With over 500 hours of clinical mentorship and years of experience teaching orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, Zach knows what it takes to be an impactful mentor. With experience teaching from the DPT to the fellowship level at multiple major universities and post-professional education programs, you are in excellent hands.
practical expertise
Zach continues to work full-time in an orthopedic and sports performance setting, treating athletes and active adults. He consistently strives to improve his clinical practice and to stay up to date with the latest evidence. Rest assured, you will receive world-class mentorship from a skilled teacher and fellow clinician who remains in the trenches of clinical practice.

You decide what the hour is focused on.

no ongoing commitment
you don’t leave empty-handed
A lack of depth is far too common in clinical mentorship.
After each session, you will receive additional materials to complement our clinical discussion, whether it be an article to review or a podcast from a world expert.
delivering world class clinical mentorship — The right way
I am a residency and fellowship-trained clinician who has taught 300+ DPT students as adjunct faculty at Thomas Jefferson University and 60+ active clinicians, including orthopedic & sports residents and OMPT fellows in training.
I have taught in every level of the physical therapy profession, spanning from the DPT level to fellows in training and as part of continuing education offerings.
I was blessed to have incredible mentors early in my career who greatly influenced my career and professional development. Each helped me improve my clinical decision-making, my ability to reflect on my clinical decisions and thought processes, and my ability to navigate complex patient cases.
These conversations were constructive, insightful, and challenged me to improve every aspect of my clinical practice, relentlessly. As a residency- and fellowship-trained clinician, I understand how transformative clinical mentorship can be. I also understand how hard high-quality mentorship can be to access.
My clinical training, years of clinical experience, and teaching experience at every level of the profession have shaped me as a clinician and mentor.
What I offer is the culmination of this expertise in every session, combined with constructive, honest conversations designed to bring your clinical practice to levels you did not know were possible.

THE CLINICAL IMPACT OF EXPERT MENTORSHIP
“Having Zach as a mentor has been an invaluable part of my professional growth. His guidance has provided me with clarity and confidence in managing patient cases, ensuring I make well-informed clinical decisions. Through our mentorship, I have gained a deeper understanding of orthopedics, allowing me to approach patient care with a more comprehensive perspective. Mentorship is crucial in bridging the gap between knowledge and practice. Discussing real cases and receiving direct feedback has not only refined my clinical reasoning but also reinforced my ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs. Zach has a wealth of experience and shares it in a way that is both educational and empowering. His insights help me connect theoretical concepts to practical applications, making complex orthopedic principles easier to grasp and implement. I am incredibly grateful for this mentorship, as it has strengthened my ability to provide high-quality care. Having a mentor like Zach has made a significant impact on my professional development, and I highly recommend mentorship to anyone looking to deepen their understanding and elevate their practice.”
Jake L | PT, DPT, CIDN
Spending countless hours with Zach for my orthopedic residency was more valuable than any other piece of information/learning experience I have had, thus far. The hours I spent with Zach allowed for discussion of evidence-based practice, interpretation of articles, and an understanding of clinical cases and clinical patterns. I feel that mentorship with Zach solidified the information I learned in residency, allowed me to grow as a therapist and self-reflect with each patient to give better care, and allowed my confidence to grow/imposter syndrome to decrease, which, overall, I think has allowed me to become a better clinician with better clinical outcomes."

“Zach is truly one of the most intelligent people I have ever spoken with. On the surface, that does not always make one a good teacher. However, Zach has a great way of breaking down concepts so that they make sense in a way that I can understand and apply them in a clinical setting. I think this is not only leading to better overall patient outcomes but is also providing me with the tools I need to grow as a clinician.”
