Privacy Policy

Resurgence Clinical Education (“Resurgence Clinical Education,” “I,” “me,” “my”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information is collected, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have when you visit www.teamresurgence.com (the “Site”), purchase Courses, or purchase and participate in one-on-one Mentorship (together, the “Services”). It applies to the Site (built on Squarespace) and to Mentorship purchases made through Thinkific. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information I Collect
Information you provide directly
Contact and account details, such as your name, email address, and password.
Professional details you choose to share, such as your profession, license type, employer, practice setting, and career goals.
Purchase and billing information, such as billing name, billing address, and order history. Payment card details are entered with payment processors and are not stored by me.
Scheduling information, such as your name, email, and the date and time of Mentorship sessions, collected through Calendly.
Messages, form submissions, reviews, testimonials, and any other content you send to me or post in a Course.
Information collected automatically
Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
Course activity, such as enrollment, lesson progress, and completion.
Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6.
Information I do not want
I do not collect or want protected health information (PHI) or any information that could identify a patient. Please do not include patient details in forms, emails, messages, Course comments, or Mentorship sessions. Cases should be fully de-identified. If you accidentally share identifiable patient information, let me know so I can delete it.
2. How I Use Your Information
I use your information to:
Provide, deliver, and manage the Services, including Course access, Mentorship scheduling, and sessions.
Process payments, issue refunds, and send receipts and order confirmations.
Create and manage your accounts.
Communicate with you about your purchases, appointments, support requests, and changes to the Services or my policies.
Send educational updates, offers, and newsletters, where permitted by law or with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time (see Section 8).
Improve the Site and Services, understand how they are used, and keep them secure.
Prevent fraud and misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Display testimonials, only with your permission.
3. How I Share Your Information
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for third-party advertising. I share information only as described below.
Service providers and platforms. I use trusted third parties to run the Services. They process information on my behalf or under their own privacy policies, and include:
Squarespace, which hosts the Site and processes Course purchases and site data.
Thinkific, which hosts Mentorship purchases and related account information.
Calendly, which handles Mentorship scheduling.
Payment processors, which securely handle payments and billing.
Email, video conferencing, and analytics providers, which support communications, live sessions, and Site performance.
These providers may only use your information to perform services for me or as described in their own policies. I encourage you to review their privacy policies, since I do not control how those platforms operate.
Legal and safety reasons. I may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when needed to protect rights, safety, and the security of the Services.
Business transfers. If my business is sold, merged, or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice to you where required.
With your consent. I may share information for other purposes when you ask or agree.
4. Mentorship Confidentiality
What you share in Mentorship sessions about your practice and career is kept confidential and is not disclosed without your permission, except where required by law. Sessions are not recorded without consent from both parties. Please see the Terms and Conditions for additional details.
5. Data Retention
I keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, I delete or de-identify it, subject to the retention practices of the third-party platforms I use.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site and the platforms I use (Squarespace, Thinkific, and Calendly) use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, secure your account, and understand how visitors use the Services.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some features may not work properly if you do. Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or similar settings. Because there is no common standard for them, the Site may not respond to those signals, but I honor opt-out preference signals where required by law.
7. Security
I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, and rely on the security measures of the platforms and payment processors I use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your login information private.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of your personal information, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by emailing me. You may still receive transactional messages about your purchases and sessions.
Account information. You can update some information directly in your Squarespace or Thinkific account.
To make a request, email support@resurgenceclinicaledu.com. I may need to verify your identity before responding, and I will respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, such as New Jersey, California, and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. You may also appeal a denial of a request by contacting me, and if the appeal is denied, you may contact your state’s attorney general. I do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older, including licensed professionals and students. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to me, contact me and I will delete it.
10. International Users
I operate in the United States, and the Services are directed to users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site and Courses may contain links to third-party websites and tools. I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies before sharing information.
12. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will post the updated version on the Site and Thinkific and update the Effective Date above. If changes are material, I will notify you by email or through the Services where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
