I graduated from Rutgers University–Camden in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, earning Summa Cum Laude honors and induction into the Atheneum Honor Society. From there, I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, where I later returned to complete a post-doctoral residency in orthopedics in 2021. To continue advancing my expertise, I completed an Orthopedic and Sports Manual Therapy Fellowship through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration, which deepened my understanding of complex movement, recovery, and performance.
Hi, I’m Zach — the owner and program director of Resurgence Clinical Education. I founded Resurgence to create a space where clinicians can grow, challenge themselves, and elevate the standard of care for their patients. I’m passionate about helping others become confident, skilled, and well-rounded physical therapists.
I currently serve as an adjunct faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University and Temple University, where I teach DPT students and orthopedic residents. In 2025, I was honored with the IMPACT Award from Thomas Jefferson University for my mentorship and commitment to student development — one of the highlights of my career so far.
I’m a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT). To offer a more holistic approach to care, I’ve also completed certifications with EXOS, the National Sports Performance Association, and Precision Nutrition — becoming an EXOS Performance Specialist, Certified Speed & Agility Coach, and Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach.
Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes of all levels — from middle school competitors to professionals in the NFL, CFL, and MLB — helping them recover, perform, and reach their potential. I’m an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), and I’m continually striving to learn, teach, and grow within this ever-evolving field.
